Head of Marketing - Branding & Corporate Communications

 

JOB SUMMARY:
A passionate individual required to provide leadership related to Branding and Corporate Communications in TPS. He/She will be required to ensure that the Branding and Marketing Communications promote the right message to position TPS as a market leader in Cards and Payments Industry in an effective, efficient and consistent manner.

His/her role will entail effective management, development and execution of brand, corporate communication activities and events to internal and external customers.

He/ She will collaborate with the Head of Business Development and CEO to raise visibility, awareness and understanding of TPS and our products to internal and external customers. It broadly covers product branding and marketing, assistance in the penetration and growth of target markets through communication programs, execution of product marketing campaigns through all marketing channels of TPS, communicate underlying technologies and cutting edge solutions offered through TPS brand.

Reports to the Head of Business Development and CEO. Manage and coordinates branding and corporate communication team and external vendors. Budget responsibility for branding and corporate communications activities, as approved by TPS management.

Qualification: University Degree in Marketing from a recognized university
Experience: Minimum 6 years of professional experience in communication and brand management

 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop and manage an effective and motivated team
  • Recruit, train, appraise, supervise, support, develop and guide personnel
Brand, Communications and Marketing coordination:
  • Ensure articulation of TPS’s desired brand image and position, and assure consistent communication of TPS image and position.
  • Lead creative development of concepts and develop market communication for (Business Development and HR)
  •  Participation in new business strategic development and ideation.
  • Well versed in social media channels and communication strategies.
  • Ensure all communication and marketing efforts are in line with the vision, ambition and brand strategy
  • TPS marketing communication management including but not limited to the following:
    • corporate  profile development,
    • corporate videos,  
    • website,
    • newsletter,
    • product and services brochures,
    • Success Stories’ publication,
    • white papers,
    • digital marketing (Buzz Marketing),
    • Social  Media Control ( through Blogging, Facebook, Twitter, Linked-in)
    • Event Management (Conferences, Exhibitions, Campus activities, Annual Dinner, HR Activities)
    • Corporate Gifts (Customers, staff members, students and potential employees)
  • Oversee the production (quality and quantity) and stock management of all print and electronic materials such as brochures, website, internal events and gifts branding etc.
  • Responsible for the achievement of the Branding and Corporate Communication business objectives.
  • Ensure that evaluation systems are in place related to these initiatives and report progress - Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate delivery - Stay informed of developments in the fields of brand, communications, marketing and marketing research, social marketing, and governance and the specific business of TPS. Use this information to inform strategy and actions in the area of Communications and Brand.
  • Ensure good coordination and high service level to TPS’s external and internal customers

Budgeting and Planning:

  • Responsible for the achievement of the Branding and Corporate Communications unit’s financial and non-financial objectives.
  • Ensure that evaluation systems are in place related to these objectives and report progress
  • Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the unit’s activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate delivery
  • Stay informed of developments in the fields of brand, communications, marketing and marketing research, social marketing, new media for the specific business of TPS. Use this information to inform strategy and actions in the area of Communications and Brand.
 
Required Skills:
 
  • Experience in social marketing and non-commercial communications and brand
  • Management with technology company (Preferred)
